Shelby McLane
Shelby McLane began learning Isshinryu karate at Ingram's karate center at the age of 8 under the guidance of her instructors, Sheri Angwin, and Jennifer Davenport
Training and competition in karate quickly became a love of hers as she progressed through the belt ranks. Over the years, Shelby has achieved her 4th-degree black belt in Isshinryu. Sensei Shelby also competes in AAU Karate tournaments, holding a National Championship title and was named the Florida State Champion for 3 consecutive years. She has recently been invited to be a member of the U.S. Karate team in Germany and is also training to compete at the international level in London during the upcoming summer of 2019.

When speaking of her journey in Isshinryu Karate, Shelby feels that her love of karate and teaching grows more each year and she loves being a part of passing the lineage of Isshinryu Karate down through the years.
