New Students

Congratulations on your decision to take the challenge toward personal excellence! The purpose of this page is to make your start with our school easy and comfortable. Included are class times, people to call for information and rules, structures, and policies of our dojo.

Li'l Dragons	3-5 year olds
Kids Program	6-11 year olds
Adult and teen Program	12 and up

CLASS TIMES: Please refer to your schedule for class times. We strongly recommend you attend class at a rate of two to three times per week. We also recommend you attend class on consistent days each week to make your attendance with our school part of your weekly schedule. If for some reason you are unable to attend class, please call us and inform the program director. Although we offer classes up to five times per week for beginners, introductory classes must be scheduled on Mondays or Wednesdays, because these days are the best days for one-on-one attention for a beginner.

VIEWING CLASSES: Parents are encouraged to watch classes, we believe that it is important to show support for your children and help them feel comfortable in the new environment.

INSTRUCTORS: Ingram's Professional Karate Center's instructors are dedicated to quality instruction for all our students. If you feel that your child is confused on a technique we encourage you to let us know - we would be happy to offer a complimentary private lesson to help your child.

Ingram's Pro Karate Center prides itself on helping children who have attention and/or learning obstacle to become better students at school. Our curriculum is designed to develop focus and confidence in both children and adults.

Physical fitness also improves as students progress through our program, which is an invaluable health benefit as our country faces an obesity epidemic. We hope your and your family become more focused, healthy, and happy at Ingram's Karate Center.

Ingram's Professional Karate Center is also proud to say that we offer much more than just training in the Martial Arts. We strive to instill excellence in all of our students, and we hope that it will reach far beyond our dojo walls. We currently have in effect our "Job List", "star citations", and "word of the week" (You can find more detailed information about these things on the "about our program" page) All of which help students and parents evaluate all aspects of a student's life, including schooling and morals. We believe that the Martial Arts should instill more than just self-defense in it's students, it should build strong character and strong minds.
